The F1 in Schools competition is a global initiative aimed at inspiring the next generation of engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers, and FAUN Trackway® is delighted to announce our sponsorship of the Cymru Speedsters, a team of budding STEM students from Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor, Pwllheli.
Visiting the Cymru Speedsters during the Wales Skills competition earlier this month, our team was shown around the impressive facilities at Coleg Menai, Llangefni, where they learnt about how the students have worked together using their Computer Aided Design, 3D printing skills and all of the knowledge required to design their entry for North Wales Regional Competition this week.
The competition not only challenges students to think critically and creatively but also provides a platform for them to showcase their talents to potential employers, sponsors, and industry leaders. F1 in Schools has proven to be a game-changer in sparking interest in STEM careers, offering a hands-on learning experience that prepares young minds for future success.
