Trackway® Defence
Medium Ground Mobility System
The Medium Ground Mobility System is engineered to enhance the mobility of vehicles with pneumatic tyres by reinforcing and stabilising the substrate in conditions of low weight-bearing pressure. Comprising M30H Trackway® and an integrated deployment and recovery system, this solution is optimised for operations in challenging terrains across multi-climate environments, ensuring reliable ground support and minimising operational disruption.
The Medium Ground Mobility System enhances the mobility of vehicles equipped with pneumatic tyres by establishing a stabilised access route specifically designed for environments with low ground-bearing pressure, mitigating the risk of vehicle immobilisation in soft or unstable terrain.
The system comprises the M30H Trackway®, an aluminium panel, graded as Military Load Classification (MLC) 30 baseline on 3% California Baring Ratio ground conditions indefinitely, and loads of up to MLC 40 dependent on the ground conditions. Versatile in its capability, the M30H Trackway® panel is the ideal solution for approach roads, gap crossing, temporary roadways, beach landings, and flooring.

M30H Trackway® is engineered for reliable performance across all operational environments, including snow, ice, desert, swamp, and jungle terrain. The Medium Ground Mobility System offers a range of deployment and recovery configurations, allowing it to be fully tailored to meet specific operational requirements.

Deployment options

The Fastrack is a specifically designed launch and recovery system that can transport and store up to 32 metres of M30H Trackway® using minimal manpower. The Fastrack is crane-mounted to any 4×4 or 6×6 flatbed vehicle or chassis via twistlocks.

The Medium Beam Dispenser is capable of deploying and recovering up to 40 metres of M30H Trackway®. Designed for compatibility with front-end loaders and telescopic handlers, it supports multi-role operations by enabling multiple 40 metre lengths of M30H Trackway® to be connected, forming extended access routes for sustained mobility across challenging terrain.
