UAV Landing Mat
The first landing mat in the world specifically designed to create runways for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and drones.
The UAV Landing Mat system has undergone rigorous qualification and operational testing, earning the distinction of being rated the top-performing solution for airfield repair and UAV recovery operations by the U.S. Army. It is currently fielded by the Australian Army to support sustained unmanned aerial system operations in deployed environments.
Designed for rapid deployment and modular expansion, both the PSA Flat Top and PSA Flat Top-R variants of the UAV Landing Mat have been formally validated and endorsed by the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) for use with MQ-9 Reaper and MQ-1 Predator platforms. The system delivers high load-bearing capacity, minimised Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk, and superior surface friction, ensuring reliable performance for launch, recovery, and maintenance operations across a wide range of operational environments.
The UAV Landing Mat is composed of interlocking Trackway® panels, enabling custom runway configurations tailored to specific dimensional requirements. Assembled in a brickwork pattern for structural integrity, the UAV Landing Mat can be constructed to any desired length and width. A full runway installation can be completed by a trained crew in under 12 hours, enabling rapid operational readiness in forward-deployed or harsh locations.

The PSA Flat Top N Trackway® features an innovative design that allows two panels to be stacked to a combined height of just 0.9 inches, optimising transport efficiency and increasing usable surface area through its unique nesting function.
Designed for ease of transport, it can be shipped on 463L pallets or in ISO containers. The panel is anodised for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance, while the anti-skid surface ensures superior traction, safeguarding both UAV assets and personnel. Ideal for UAV and drone operations, the system is suitable for landing, take-off, servicing, and maintenance, with its flat, stable surface making it an optimal solution for drone parking zones, operational aprons, and taxiing areas.
The S46H Trackway® system consists of high-strength, extruded aluminium panels engineered to provide a robust, load-bearing surface for UAV and drone operations, including landing, take-off, taxiing, and parking. Designed for semi-permanent and extended-use deployments, it is ideal for environments where traditional airfield infrastructure is unavailable or unsuitable.
Optimised for rapid deployment and recovery with minimal personnel and mechanical support, the S46H Trackway® enhances operational flexibility and readiness in forward-deployed or contingency scenarios. Its durable construction and integrated anti-skid surface treatment ensure optimal traction, providing safe and stable handling for UAVs and drones across a variety of environmental conditions.
In addition to UAV-specific use, the system can also function as a ground reinforcement platform for wheeled and tracked vehicle access routes. Supplied in a modular, palletised kit format, the S46H Trackway® is transportable via standard logistics platforms, allowing for direct deployment to operational sites.
