Helicopter Landing Mat
The Helicopter Landing Mat system facilitates the safe landing, servicing, parking and take-off areas for all types of helicopters within an array of environments and operations.
The Helicopter Landing Mat system is engineered to facilitate the rapid establishment of stabilised landing, servicing, parking, and take-off zones for rotary-wing aircraft. Designed for use across a broad spectrum of operational theatres, it supports all helicopter types by providing a durable, non-FOD-generating surface suitable for expeditionary and austere environments.
The Helicopter Landing Mat system is engineered to suppress particulate displacement and mitigate Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risks, thereby ensuring operational safety and safeguarding rotary-wing platforms during landing, take-off, and ground handling.
Developed in collaboration with the UK Royal Engineers, the system is manufactured to precise dimensional tolerances and can be configured to meet specific load-bearing, environmental, and operational requirements.
Designed for scalability, it supports both temporary and semi-permanent deployments and is available in a variety of panel geometries and surface profiles to accommodate varying soil conditions, aircraft types, and mission parameters.

The PSA Flat Top N Trackway® is engineered with a distinctive interlocking design that allows two panels to be stacked to a combined height of 0.9 inches, optimising volumetric efficiency for transport and enabling rapid deployment and efficient packing.
This stacking capability maximises panel capacity within transportation stillages, ensuring compatibility with various logistics platforms. Anodised for enhanced material resilience, the panels offer superior resistance to corrosion, wear, and environmental degradation. Supplied with an anti-skid surface, the Trackway® ensures optimal frictional properties for safety.
Originally developed for the UK Armed Forces over 50 years ago, the original landing mat panel can be transported by land, sea or air in either stillages or 463L pallets. Ideal for landing and take-off for rotary-wing helicopters, the PSA Trackway® panel is lightweight, versatile and can be deployed with ease.
Deployment and Shipping
The Helicopter Landing Kit Trackway® panels are designed for rapid deployment and recovery, allowing them to be installed and removed quickly and efficiently by hand. This ease of handling enables teams to set up a safe and reliable landing surface in virtually any location, tailored to an area size that meets specific operational requirements. The flexible, modular design allows the panels to be configured to suit a wide range of site conditions, making them ideal for temporary or mobile helicopter landing zones. Once operations are complete, the panels can be just as easily recovered and transported, minimising downtime while maximising convenience, adaptability, and operational efficiency.
A 20ft ISO Container facilitates the transportation and storage of one 30m x 30m PSA Flat Top N Trackway® Helicopter Landing Mat with installation and anchorage kits.
Facilitates the transportation of one 15m x 15m PSA Flat Top N Trackway® Helicopter Landing Mat with installation and anchorage kits. When all equipment bundles have been removed from the container, it may be used as an indoor facility with heat, light and power.
